Dog Breed Information

In this section I have included a very few of the many hundreds of varieties of dog breeds available.

This is for a two fold reason. The first is because if I were to try and include all of the known breeds in this book, I would still be writing about them even now, there are so many of them.

And the second reason I have included this section is so that you can get a general idea of what I am talking about in the book, and what you should look for and what you will find when choosing a dog.

It should also be noted that I have for the most part included dogs in this section that are considered to be the more popular variety.

There are a handful of dog breeds here which are not as well known as, say a Husky, or a Doberman Pinscher, or a Poodle, or even a Dalmatian, but these are only a few cases.

I put them in mainly because although they might not be universally known by name, by sight they are familiar to dog lovers everywhere.

Each of the dogs I have mentioned are in alphabetical order so as to make life easier for you, and I have included the relevant details needed, to find out what you can about the dogs.

Naturally this won’t be enough information for a great many people, and for these people, I direct you to use the resources which are available to you in the form of the internet, books and other such places.
