Can you get sick from burning dog feces.? My boyfriend has a Great Dane that is almost 14 years old and is dying. She craps all over and does not go outside anymore. He is feeding her all kinds of human food and it is giving her diarrhea. When he cleans it up, he uses papertowel and throws it in the fire place in which he leaves there until he burns it. I feel that my children and I could possibly get sick from this and i feel it is truly disgusting. When she craps all over her blankets, he does not rinse them off and just throws them in the washing machine with detergent. After he is done washing these disqusting blankets, I take half a bottle of bleach and run it through the washing machine with hot water. I have complained that what he is doing is not sanitary and of course I am overreacting. Her dog house is loaded in crap and she will just lay in it. He says she has always been like that. He never has cleaned out the dog house. Now with that info, i do believe we could get sick. What do you think?
The dog has been to the vet and she suggested putting her to sleep but he will not let her go. I can not do anything for this dog because we just moved in 2 months ago. I have already been yelled at telling me that it is like his daughter. I understand considering I have 3 children of my own and if I would not allow this to happen. Our crazy neighbor told him that he needs a dog pshyic to make sure it is her time. Or he should feed her with I.V's. Again, feeding my children that way to keep them alive, not happening. |
