I found a website that lists all different types of things that are considered poisionous to dogs. I am sorry, but I am not allowed to post the webpage on here. It says that I am not allowed to until I have made 15 or more posts. If you would like to know the webpage you can IM me on yahoo messenger, windows live messenger, or you can e-mail me. Sorry for the inconveinience.
It is located under the gastrointestinal toxins. I have never heard of garlic being bad for dogs, but then again I have only recently taken a huge interest in them. Sorry if this doesn't help you too much.
What kind of dog is it?
Also, you said that it whines when you pick it up from the back legs or chest area, also that he doesn't jump onto furniture...are you sure that your dog did not injure a back leg somehow? Although I could be wrong. Usually they will limp if something is wrong with their legs.
It could possibly be the age of the dog. |
