Is an Alaskan Malamute right for where I live?

 Is an Alaskan Malamute right for where I live? First off, I'd like to say I've done loads of research on this dog and other dogs. So far everything about this type of dog I love and would be great for my life style. Everything that is except for where I live. Every website has said they don't do great in hot weather but some say they can live in there if you are prepared.( Air conditioning, playing early and late, ect...) Where I live it can be in the negatives in winter, 40-80 in spring and fall, and up to 105 in summer. I have a yard and a air conditioning, but im still afraid Of putting this dog through too much heat. Would it be ok to have one live where I live and if so, what else should I know about keeping them cool and safe in the heat. (And no, SHAVING A DOG IS ONE OF THE WORST THINGS YOU CAN DO!)      |
