What is the max. amount of canaries that can be put into a flight cage

| I would go with no more than 4 but make sure you don't put two males in the same cage. They will fight and eventually one will die. Also, if you want your male to sing, do not house it with a female. All females do well together. Sometimes a male with females will want to mate way too much and you will find worn out females that are not at their best. Canaries need long cages as opposed to tall cages. They need to be able to fly as much as possible. |
