Default My mini blinds have gotten destroyed by my cats, what will hold up better next time

around? They are the cheap basic kind, I think they are plastic or something. It is only in one window since their little cat seat is there so they can see outside. I'm not going to move it b/c they thoroughly enjoy it, but it's the first floor so I like putting the blinds down for privacy at night and when we're out of the house. They are all snapped in half/bent/tooth marked/etc. The cats like to slip through them as opposed to getting in front of them from the side (what dopes). For future reference, is it worth it to invest in, lets say, the wooden ones? Or maybe pull down shades? Probably not the cheap papery kind I'm assuming. Maybe like the bamboo looking kind? Any experience with this so we're not spending tons of money experimenting with this stuff?
