two questions: why does my cockatiel fly backwards and why does it screech?

 two questions: why does my cockatiel fly backwards and why does it screech? its wings are clipped from the bird store, but when it tries to fly, it flies backwards and lands on its tail and breaks some tail feathers. when i scratch its head, it screeches constantly but when i take my finger away, it goes to my finger and puts its head down for me to scratch it and then starts screeching again. ps. the screeching isnt very loud, but its aggrivating and sounds like bad car brakes. also its a female.      |
