Which dog is better for home a labrador or a dalmation???

Dalmations sometimes don't have as much patience for kids as labs. And there hair is really annoying because it sticks in the couch and sheds alot.. but doesn't need to be brushed as often. Labs are all around nice dogs, but need to be brushed often. I have never personally had a dalmation, but my best friend had one when we were little and my uncle has one (his is SUPER mean!!)

If you have children, a dalmation is not the right dog for you. A better family dog is definatly a labrador.

How active is your household? Both these breeds are active but I'd say Dals are MUCH more active and if they do not get enough exercise tend to have temperament issues. They were bred to GO for a loooong time. Labs need a lot of exercise as well but not quite as much and they tend to get a bit less irritated when this need is not quite met. I'd need to know more about your lifestyle to make a real decision about which is better for you.
