my dog just had 4 puppies and all of a sudden she is really weak and sick, any ideas?

is there a type of dog food for mothers or anything i could possibly give her?
Seeing as today is a holiday and the vet is closed that is why im here asking for adivce. She has had puppies before and this has never happened. And the puppies are almost 3 weeks old. If it was the after-birth would it not have happened awhile ago?

Call your Vet. The pups need to be checked & the mom needs it too. Did she pass the after birth? Are the pups nursing? If the mama dies you will have to rasise the pups by hand.

She maybe weak from having the pups but to be on the safe side I'd take her & her pups to the Vet. for a check up.

theres some food ouot there and meds and vitiamens to help a mother gain her strength back. but if she is sick you might want to take her to the vet. sometimes after they deliver their pups they have complications and need to go to the vet. maybe she has one breach and hasnt came out.. need to call the vet and see but i am sure they will have you bring her in. oh by the way you can find the items i told you about at petsmart or places like that.

Yep, it's Victoria day here too - but the emergency vet is open 24/7 - sorry, no excuse.
