Yes, you need to change it slowly or keep it on the same food. Its body has grown so used to the previous food that its body takes time to get used to the new kind.

yes it can.
why did u change?

Can U go back to the old stuff?
Generally u should mix the 2 dog foods together to wean here off the one onto the new. Usually they don't vomit with a food change but if she is sensitive she will. The diareaha can stay up to 7 days which is allot to endure for a small dog.
Kaopecta stomach acid reducer will help but only mask a possible real issue. I had this problem but I also found out where I live we use reclaimed water..DO NOT DRINK stuff. Well The pups lap up puddles and eat whatever sticks and leaves that has been watered with this reclaimed water and it has a prasite in it called 'giardiasis'..
u may need to see a vet if she elows down eating or sleeping allll the time. good luck

lol...as everyone has said......yes......but don't feel bad--many of us pet owners have messed up like that, too.... like my german shepard used to eat anything, so one night i had a bit of soy sauce left on my plate and he was giving me that "i'm starved, you never feed me" look, so i gave him the plate to lick....well.....the next morning i got up and poor mr. bear had had an "accident" all around the foosball table, one nice big long circle....he recovered nicely and i learned my lesson, so just follow the gradual transition advice and enjoy your puppy.

Yes. You mix it in gradually with the former puppy chow.
