Feeder mice for falconry?

Default Feeder mice for falconry?

I'm considering beginning falconry. After I get a permit and get a bird, is it worth the money to raise mice for my raptor (In addition to purchasing other food items)? It's obvious that I can't hunt it every day, so it won't have a daily wild food source.
