Default My guppies are dying because of the heat... should I get turtles or...

...another type of fish? My guppies are dying because the tank temp is constantly going over 28 because it is very hot here in Cyprus. I cant afford to buy a cooling system so they are all dying. I was wondering if there is a certain species of fish that prefer the heat... or perhaps, could I get turtles instead? I have a 20 litre tank, but I could upgrade to a 50. Thanks!

Your doing something wrong, guppies don't die in heat. Do you have air through a filter,do you clean the tank, put in the right chemicals, feed them properly, have snails to clean the sides of the tank,a bigger tank would help mostly if you have too many fish, talk your fish place you bought your fish and take the dead ones back for free ones and fix your problem, its not the heat, and if you have a heater I hope your smart enough to unplug it.
