So for my birthday I am getting a bunny. There is one I really want.. it is a male.. and it was born bout a few mounths ago. So.. I am gonna keep it in my room.. because the lady @ the pet store said they can get diseases outside. I will bring it out every day to play. Does anyone have a bunny.. that can tell me the best food.. or toys.. and what type of water it can have. I am guessing I can just get water from the tap?? Or should it be filtered? Also I just bought a book today from Petco about bunnies. It says I can take it for walks. So I have a dog and when I take it for walks sometimes I kinda "pull" on her and say heal if she is going a different way. Should I do this for my bunny? Or just pick it up and show it the way. Thank you for any help! I am sooo excited! Also.. just a fun question. Can anyone think of a name for it. I am pretty sure I am getting a light brown one. I was thinking Snickers {I Love them} but snickers are too dark. Any suggestions?? If i dont get a brown one.. which I am 98% sure I am then I am getting a black with white dots on him. My sister made up Oreo.. which I think is genious.. any other suggestions??

congrats on the new bunny! food that they can have timothy hay alfalfa pellet food carrots romaine lettuce celeryfresh grass, parsley dandelions kiwi broccoli cauliflower kale spinach pease raspberries strawberries tomatoes apples (dont feed them alot) bananas (dont feed them alot) food they shouldnt eat iceberg lettuce bread cabbage toys they have wooden toys at petsmart that rabbits like, also you can make a rabbit run with cardboard boxes that will keep them entertained about walking...i have a harness for my rabbits and they like to walk on them, but walking a rabbit isnt like walking a dog, they go where they want to go, and not where you want them to go make sure you give your rabbit lots of love and affection bc if you dont it wont be use to you and it wont let you hold it alot & since you are going to keep it inside you can litter box train it, use yesterdays news for that, its safe for rabbits & i keep both my rabbits outside and they dont have any diseases, so dont listen to her about that, if you end up keeping your rabbit outside sometimes, make sure there is plenty of shade, make sure it has plenty of water, and my rabbits have a fan that circulates & it blows on them, so theres not a constant draft of air on them & to cool them off, you can get a bottle of water and freeze it and lay it in the cage, they will lay on it and cool off

Okay, I have had two bunnies before and they are so fun to have around. I fed mine lettace, carrots, and sometimes even oats. They will eat almost anything but its always good to give them veggies, because its their favorite. Or you could feed them regular pellet food which isn't as healthy. As for walking the rabbit. Its very hard to train a rabbit, because they are very stubbourn. Beleive me. I would say carry it and let if find its way, or take it out on a walk without your dog and simply let it go where it wants to. Lets it explore.
