About to buy a snake! What to do?

I'm going to buy an albino corn snake from a breeder tomorrow, what should I do to prepare? I already have a 10 gallon tank, a water bowl and a pirate skull head that i thought was pretty cool (it's styrofoam- is that OK for snakes?) I'm going to buy the heat lamp tomorrow when I get him.. what else should I get? What do I need to know? I've done some research but I'd still like to get more input

Aww, sweet. Girl, snakes are the coolest pets!
I used to have a bright orange gopher snake... they are similar to king snakes. Corn & king snakes are the best snakes for first time snake owners, cuz they don't mind being handled much, and arent aggressive. But you sound pretty much set... although, my snake loved the tree branch I put in the tank for her, she was always on it anyway...
As for the styrofoam, sorry, I dunno if it could be harful to the snake, or not, it sounds fine, but ya never know till ya ask the expert...
