what is the earliest proper age for male Rottweiler dogs to start mating/breeding?

i have a male rottweiler dog, he is 10 months old and accidentally he mated witha female doberman who was in heat, and i've been hearing that it is totally inappropriate for males to start mating before the age of 1 1/2 to 2 years , so i was wondering what exactly is the most appropriate age for males to start mating, and what are the disadvantages of what happened, is it going to affect his growth, and is there any way i can start compensating for that by giving extra vitamines or even altering or incresing his food

the best time is no time ...get your dog fixed you already see what happened more mutts will be brought in this world and more than likely wont get a good home.no it wont stunt his growth the 2 year deal is for females.
