Default Need Rottweiler/Pit Bull Mix Training Advice

I'm going to get a 8 weeks old male rottweiler/pit bull mix puppy in a couple weeks. I need some advice on how to obedience train him. I seen a lot of dogs like that getting put down because they are too aggressive and will attack peoples when they are older. I really want him to be a sweet friendly dog when he is older. HELP?

Socializing is the MOST important thing to do with a puppy of this mix.
As you should already know, Pits are naturally dog (not human) aggressive, that is why Pits need lots of socialization with other dogs when they are as young as possible. They are also a protective breed, as are Rotties, so they also need interaction with strangers when they are pups.
Find a good trainer that has puppy classes, so your pup will be able to meet humans and people and will get some good obedience training which every dog needs.
You can also buy a good dog training book, to help.
Pits and Rotts are both wonderful dogs when trained and socialized properly. Enjoy him!
