I have two dogs a lab and a shih tzu. That don't get along. HELP!?

 I have two dogs a lab and a shih tzu. That don't get along. HELP!? I have two dogs a lab Sandy and a shih tzu Bella. When my cousins dog was a puppy Sandy knocked out the puppies eye and he ended up losing his eye. Four days after we got Bella, Sandy knocked out her eye (luckily the vet was able to save Bella's eye.) Now Bella is ten months old and most days Bella and Sandy get along but sometimes Sandy has a bad day and bites Bella (almost always Bella's eye.) I have a gate at my house that seprates the house into 2 and each dog gets a side, but when will the sanity end? How can I get them to get along? HELP?! they are both spayed      |
