Adopting a second dog?! Shih Tzu & Lhasa Apso?!?!?

Hello, I currently have a 2 year old Shih Tzu and was thinking about getting him a play mate. I started to inquire about adopting a Lhasa Apso mix from a local shelter and wanted to know if that was a good idea? Will the transition be difficult? My current dog loves to play and is not aggressive at all. Will caring for two dogs be difficult?

Caring for two dogs is more difficult than caring for one. If you want to take on the challenge, a Lhasa Apso mix is not a bad idea.

I recently added two dogs to my house we bought a pup- had a 13 yr old dog and my boss found out he had cancer so I took there baby during chemo etc.... .
