you might want to check out some dog training books or videos from the library. Siberians are generally hard dogs to train. maybe get help from a professional. It would be hard work to train it by yourself, but not if you are persistent and don't give up.

the best way to train a husky is to first make it understand that YOU are the alpha and not her. once you achieve this it will help a lot in training her. to achieve dominance over her one trick you can do is to force her to lay on her back. it may require some strength and force. once she is on her back you need to have an almost angry demeanor. you must be challenging, threatening, and a force to be reckon with. while she is on her back you need to stand over her in a threatening way and stare straight into her eyes. if she moves her head or looks away, then follow her movements. force her to look you in the eyes. you must keep her in this position until she finally submits. she will do this by baring her throat completely to you. this is the dog way of putting their life in your hands. by doing this they don't know if you're going to rip their throats out or allow them to live, but they are leaving it up to you to decide. once she submits to you then you may release her when you want. repeat this everyday for a while. i find this is also a good thing to do every so often just to remind dogs of the order in the pack. once you can command the attention of your husky, training her will become so much easier. huskies are a very smart breed and can pick things up very easily. this is a double edged sword, though. they tend to test the boundaries often to see if you are paying attention. the more they think they can get away with, the harder it will be to get them to do what you want.
